From the recording Blue Canon
The canon is a classical form (Pachabel’s is the most well known) where each instrument imitates the previous line, like a round that doesn’t repeat. I’ve just applied this to a 12 bar blues format. So first we hear the guitar on the right play the first melody doubled by the bass (which repeats this throughout). At 0:36 the second guitar, left side, plays the first melody while the right side goes on to the second melody. At 1:10 the third guitar (in the center) enters playing the first melody, while the left side guitar plays the second melody and the right side guitar goes on to the third melody, and so it goes.
